Trial rescheduled for man in El Reno strangling case
EL RENO — The murder trial for an ex-convict accused of strangling his girlfriend and her four children has been rescheduled for Sept. 13.

Oklahoma County detention officer arrested
After an investigation, an Oklahoma County jail detention officer has been fired and arrested on complaints of providing contraband to inmates, Sheriff John Whetsel said.
